Scribe Engineering Limited
Scribe Engineering has been providing mechanical design and CAD services since 2014, working from March in Cambridgeshire. The focus is machinery and fabricated equipment — things that have to be built, assembled, moved, used and then maintained.
The work is deliberately practical. The emphasis is on detail that can actually be manufactured: sensible tolerances, weldments a welder can get a torch into, fasteners a fitter can reach, and drawing packages that answer questions rather than raising them.
Most clients are small and medium-sized manufacturers with more design work than design resource, who would rather buy experience by the day than carry it permanently on the payroll.
